    This work is an academic study. It deals with the relation between the microstructure and electrochemical behavior of four iron-based FeCoC ternary alloys. The solidification behavior of these alloys was studied in an earlier work. This latter leads to the liquidus surface projection by: 2.   A material for components of a gas turbine, in particular a jet aircraft engine, is disclosed. The material contains an amount of a ferritic phase with Fe and Al and an amount of at least one Laves phase, where the amount of the at least one Laves phase constitutes the largest amount of the material. The crystal structure is typically face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic.
